Closing the Month of K3 2024, INALUM Held a Blood Donation in Tanjung Gading

Batu Bara, 12 Februari 2024 - PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum or INALUM is holding another Donor Action. Collaborating with the Indonesian Red Cross, Batu Bara Regency, INALUM succeeded in collecting more than 200 bags of blood. This activity is the closing event of the 2024 National K3 Month celebration at INALUM.

INALUM Corporate Secretary Mahyaruddin Ende said that this Blood Donation Action activity was a routine activity held by the company as the company's commitment to providing sustainable benefits to the community. As well as a means of improving employee health through blood donation.

"We are grateful for all the support from employees, contractors and employee families who participated in donating blood in the Blood Donation Action at the beginning of 2024. "Hopefully the collected blood can provide sustainable benefits to the community and make it easier for health workers to complete their work," said Mahyaruddin.

The INALUM Blood Donation Action was carried out in the first week of February and was carried out in the Tanjung Gading Employees Complex area. The committee said that there were 274 people who wanted to participate, but 230 people were declared fit to donate blood. It was recorded that 230 blood bags were collected with the following details: Rhesus A+ (68 bags); Rhesus B+ (68 sacs); Rhesus AB+ (8 bags); Rhesus O+ (86 sacs).

The blood that has been collected is then handed over to PMI Batu Bara which will then be distributed to patients who need it. Every year, INALUM always carries out Blood Donation Actions as a company step in improving health aspects both for employees/vendors/employee families and for the wider community. Collaborating with PMI Batu Bara, INALUM is committed to holding another Blood Donation Action in the next few months.
