As a BUMN, INALUM's shareholders are 100% owned Government of Indonesia thru PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (Persero). Thus, the Government of Indonesia thru PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (Persero) is the sole shareholder of INALUM as implementation of PP No.45/2022 which concerning about Reduction of State Capital Participation of the Republic of Indonesia in the PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum Company and PP No.46/2022 which concerning about State Capital Participation of the Republic of Indonesia for the establishment of a Company in the Mining Sector. Furthermore, Inalum was became a holding member, equal with PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM), PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), PT Timah Tbk, PT Freeport Indonesia, and PT Vale Indonesia Tbk.
