Jakarta, 15 Mei 2024 - PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum or INALUM again received two awards at the BUMN Marketeers Day 2024 event as The Most Promising Company in Tactical Marketing in the Silver category and the BUMN Goddess Award. This award is proof of the company's commitment to expanding the aluminum industrial market at domestic and global levels.
INALUM Business Development Director Melati Sarnita said that this award was proof of the hard work of all INALUM people in building their company from various aspects. "We at INALUM would like to express our gratitude to all parties who have supported the company so that INALUM can now become Indonesia's pride in the national aluminum industry. "We hope that this award will encourage INALUM to be able to move faster, more strategically, and provide more sustainable benefits for all stakeholders and Indonesia," said Melati, who also received the Dewi BUMN award at the event.

The Most Promising Company in Tactical Marketing award in the Silver category was received by INALUM on BUMN Marketeers Day 2024, an award event for marketers/marketeers among BUMN, BUMD, and BUMN Subsidiaries, both corporately and individually, and this year it is 12th event. The award was given to INALUM because it was deemed able to provide superior company performance in the midst of a business environment that is heading towards economic recovery, including digital transformation efforts in the marketing sector which includes aspects of creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership as a form of BUMN's contribution to Indonesia's progress. Apart from that, INALUM is also considered to be able to bring about business transformation in terms of Classical Marketing, Entrepreneurial Marketing (CIEL), and Marketing 5.0. The assessment was carried out on 4 categories that play an important role in a company's marketing success, namely how the company develops strategy, what tactics in strategy execution are like, the effectiveness of optimizing data and technology, as well as the company's contribution to the environment and society. The judging process involved members of the Jakarta CMO Club, Indonesia Marketing Association and the International Council for Small Business in Indonesia.
INALUM Executive Vice President Group Commercial and Supply Chain Management Gusti Fauzi M. Gafli said that this was the hard work of all INALUM people, especially the commercial team, who had been pushing the company in terms of continuous innovation.

INALUM has carried out several corporate actions in order to increase production capacity in response to the high potential of the national aluminum market which currently has a demand of up to 1 million tons. These projects include: Construction of the Mempawah Smelter Grade Alumina Refinery (SGAR), Reduction Furnace Technology Upgrading Project in 2023, Optimization of the Kuala Tanjung Smelter which is targeted to increase production capacity in 2024-2025 and the IAA Aluminum Remelt Diversification Project.
