INALUM Conducts High Altitude K3 Technician Training for Local Youth

Batu Bara, 05 Juni 2024 - PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum (INALUM) collaborates with the Indonesian Engineering Professional Certification Institute (LSPTTI) North Sumatra to carry out vocational skills training for the community, namely K3 Technician Competency Training. This training aims to improve human resources in the surrounding community so that they can increase their competitiveness to enter today's modern industrial ecosystem. 

INALUM Corporate Secretary Mahyaruddin Ende said this program was the company's commitment to improving human resources in the surrounding community in accordance with the 2030 SDG's sustainable pillars. He said that the company had hopes that human resources around the company's operations would become more advanced, independent and competitive.

We also thank all parties who help INALUM in carrying out this program," said Mahyaruddin.

Training was held from 3rd SD. June 7 2024 in the PT Inalum training room and the practicum will be held in the new PT Inalum building area. K3 technician competency training in the field of high-altitude work, theoretical training and technical practicum is carried out for 5 days, after that the 12 training participants will be tested for competency to obtain competency certification from BNSP, this program is carried out so that human resources around the Company have skills and are competent as added value. compete to enter the industrial world.

This training is nothing new for INALUM. In 2023, INALUM will conduct K3 training  in collaboration with the Indonesian Engineering Personnel Association (ASTTI) North Sumatra. Training will be held from September 9 2023 to September 15 2023.
