INALUM Again Wins Two CSR Awards

Jakarta, 6 Juni 2024 - PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium atau INALUM meraih dua penghargaan dalam TopCSR Award 2024 yaitu TOP CSR AWARDS 2025 # STAR5 dan TOP LEADER ON CSR COMMITMENT 2024. Penghargaan ini merupakan hasil dari komitmen INALUM yang memiliki misi untuk bisa memberikan dampak positif kepada masyarakat, lingkungan, dan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan. 

Corporate Secretary INALUM Mahyaruddin Ende menyebut bahwa penghargaan ini merupakan hasil dari kerja keras seluruh INSAN INALUM dalam memberikan manfaat yang berkelanjutan untuk seluruh elemen masyarakat dan lingkungan. Ia juga menyampaikan terima kasih kepada seluruh pihak yang selama ini telah mendukung INALUM dan setiap program CSR yang dihadirkan. 

"Kami berterima kasih kepada seluruh pihak yang senantiasa mendukung setiap program pemberdayaan masyarakat dan lingkungan yang dihadirkan oleh INALUM. Kami bersyukur bisa terus berkontribusi dan berharap bisa memberikan manfaat yang berkelanjutan. Kami juga berterima kasih kepada seluruh Insan INALUM yang telah bekerja keras menjalankan seluruh program sehingga bisa memberikan manfaat yang baik untuk seluruh elemen masyarakat," ujar Mahyaruddin. 

The 2024 TOP CSR Awards were given to a number of leading companies from various business sectors in Indonesia (29 May 2024) at the Raffles Hotel Jakarta. This award is a continuation from previous years since 2016, and was held by TopBusiness Magazine in collaboration with a number of institutions. 

These institutions  include (PaGI) Indonesian Governance Professional Association, GRC Association, LKN (Nawacita Study Institute), CoreBest, MB Consulting (Mitra Bhadra Consulting), ISVI (Indonesian Shared Value Institute), SKB (Business Performance Solutions), SDP (Synergy Daya Prima), Dwika Consulting, Melani K. Harriman and Associate, as well as several CSR experts and consultants.  The event was attended by nearly 600 people from various circles, including CEOs/heads of companies that won the award.

Chairman of the 2024 TOP CSR Awards Jury, Dr. Mas Achmad Daniri explained a number of important things regarding the assessment and judging process at the TOP CSR Awards 2024. First, he explained that the TOP CSR Awards 2024 award categories for companies/organizations were classified into five levels of Star Level, namely Star 1 to Star 5. 

These criteria are, first, the alignment of CSR initiatives (or CSR program support) with the company's sustainable business growth strategy. Second, the level of adoption of CSR policies and programs towards the provisions of ISO 26000: 2010 SR (either by the CSR division or claims of recognition from other divisions outside CSR related to the core clauses/subjects in ISO 26000 SR).  Third, the CSR governance system (related to planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting, etc.). Fourth, superior CSR program innovation, which can be an example/can be recommended to other companies. Meanwhile, the fifth is identifying the impact of ESG materiality on the business, and management strategies so that the business continues to grow sustainably. Then, there is the Top Leader on CSR Commitment 2024 category award. t
