Celebrate the World Environment Day, This Is the Achievement of INALUM Throughout 2022 and Vision INALUM 2023

Jakarta, 06 June 2023 - PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum (INALUM) proves the commitment
support against environmental conservation by doing conservation programs at
Toba Lake and East Coast of Sumatra (Batu Bara). These steps
is a INALUM way in supporting government programs in terms of preservation
and realize Net Zero Emission 2060.

Corporate Secretary INALUM Mahyaruddin Ende calls that as a company
is present quite long in Indonesia, INALUM is committed to maintaining the ecosystem
around the operational area either in Lake Toba (Kawasan PLTA) or at the Beach
The Sumatran Coast (Kawasan Smelter Kuala Tanjung) by continuing to do innovation and
full consistency in any programs related to the environment.

“INALUM has grown for more than 4 decades, as long as that INALUM gives
full comitment and special consistency in terms of environmental preservation about
companies. We also do not work alone, we continue to collaborate with many parties
because INALUM believes that environmental sustainability is the responsibility of many
hand so that synergy and absolute collaboration is carried out,” Mahyaruddin said.

In length of 2022, INALUM runs environmental concern programs in the area
Operations in Kuala Tanjung and Paritohan. In terms of operational INALUM succeeds
to do Eco-Inovation Conversion HSD to LNG Energy usage efficiency at
18.252,35 Gigajoule. Pun in terms of energy, INALUM is consistently using the
electric energy generated from the Sigura-gura and PLTA PLTA as the production energy
aluminium and employee housing operations.

In the East Coast of North Sumatra, INALUM develops Eco-Tourism Mangrove Beach
History, Desa Perupuk, Batu Bara Regency. INALUM since 2014 conducts conservation at
20 Hektare (Ha) Lahan Mangrove, with the details of 5 Ha used as Land  Planting and as many as 15 Ha did conservation for Existing Land. Total for 9
years, INALUM has planted 51.000 Seedling Mangrove Bakau.

Masih in North Sumatra East Coast, INALUM made the Public Education program Burung
Water village that every year is stopped in Lalang Village and Prupuk Village, Batu Bara Regency.
Unik because the area adjacent to Smelter Kuala Tanjung Tanjung is every year
through the next 30 types of Burung Migran who is doing migration from the Earth Break
Utara to South. As a step of treating the annual cycle, INALUM creates
Bird Wathcing Ecotourism Program to the community while doing socialization
Village Arrangements on the Water Burung Protection migrated to the public.

Sementara in Toba Lake Area, INALUM conducts tree planting routinely at
Kawasan Area of Tangkapan Lake Toba, North Sumatra. Throughout 2022,
INALUM planted 149.000 productive tree seedlings in 299 Ha scattered on the coast of 7
Kab/City bordered by Toba Lake. The tree planted include Makadamia
Nut, Alpukat, Jengkol, Pete, Mahoni. To access this activity, INALUM
collaborate with 15 Local Forest Tani Groups sustainably.
