Celebrate National Nelayan Day, INALUM Bantu Nelayan in Batu Bara Regency

Batu Bara, 7 April 2022 - PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum (Persero) (INALUM) submits the help of operational aids in fishing nets to fishermen groups located in Batu Bara Regency. The submission of this assistance is a INALUM step in celebrating the National Nelayan Day which falls on 6 April 2022 at once the company's commitment in supporting fishermen empowerment around the company.

VP TJSL/CSR INALUM Ali Hasian calls that this help is the form of INALUM's commitment in empowering and improving the wellbeing of fishermen groups. Once a company way to celebrate National Nelayan Day.

“Nelayan in Batu Bara is a group of people living side by the company. With this help, we hope to be able to facilitate fishermen in conducting daily activities as well as can add productivity from around fishermen,” Ali said.

Bantuan is given to the nelayan located in 5 districts in Batu Bara Regency, among other districts of Medang Deras, Nibung Hangus District, Sei Suka District, Tanjung Tiram District, and Talawi District. There are 129 nets consisting of different types given to fishermen.

Before, INALUM also provides 50 Pelampung Tires and 50 Rain Suits. While for farmers in Sukaramai White Water District, INALUM provides 18 Pcs Shoes Boots, 18 Pcs Glasses Googles, 18 Pcs Mask Respirator, 18 Pcs Gloves and 18 Hat Caping.
