Arif Haendra is a seasoned professional who combines strong technical competence with strategic insight. Born in 1971, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1995 and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Materials from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 2007. He later completed his Doctorate in Management and Business at IPB University in 2021.
With an extensive background in leading state-owned enterprises (SOEs), Arief Haendra most recently held the position of President Director at PT Garam, preceded by his tenure as Director of Operations and Development. His experience also includes strategic roles as President Director of PT Kaltim Industrial Estate (KIE) and key positions at PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur, where he developed deep expertise in designing and executing business transformation initiatives and equipped him with the tools needed to spearhead the expansion of INALUM’s business portfolio, foster strategic partnerships, and unlock downstream potential in line with national industrial policies.
As Director of Business Development, he is poised to harness INALUM’s business potential and drive it toward sustainable value creation for both the company and Indonesia’s aluminum industry.
