INALUM Commemorates National K3 Month 2021

Kuala Tanjung (10/2) - PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero) or INALUM commemorates the National Occupational Health and Safety (K3) month which falls on January 12 - February 12, 2021. The series of K3 month commemoration is filled with K3 socialization, K3 seminars , social action, K3 article writing competition, fire fighting competition participated by all internal INALUM departments, and the climax is the National K3 month commemoration ceremony which is implemented with strict physical and virtual health protocols in the Ballroom of INALUM Main Office Building on Wednesday (10/2).

On this occasion, the Managing Director of INALUM Oggy Achmad Kosasih conveyed the importance of implementing K3 in his daily work. "The culture of implementing K3 must be a culture that is maintained during work, because after all there are our families who are always waiting for us at home after we come home from work, don't be the least bit careless and always obey the K3 rules that apply in each work location," said Oggy.

Furthermore, INALUM's Executive Director of Operations & Production Rainaldy Harahap also hopes for an increase in K3 performance in 2021. "In 2021, INALUM continues to strive to improve K3 performance, one of which is by continuing to improve the application of shopfloor management and 5R (Compact, Neat, Clean, Careful, and Diligent) in all company work locations," explained Rainaldy.

The ceremony also announced the winners of the K3 article competition, K3 performance performances, K3 exemplary employees, implementation of the best shopfloor management, fire fighting competitions and others.

Meanwhile, INALUM Deputy Corporate Secretary Mahyaruddin AR said that INALUM has consistently implemented a good K3 culture, this can be seen from the various awards related to K3 that INALUM has received. "The K3 culture at INALUM has been implemented very well, this is reflected in the various awards that INALUM has received today, such as the International Safety Award Winner 2020 from the British Safety Council and the 2020 Zero Accident Award from the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia," he explained.
